The Senior Analyst, Stewardship will work within the Stewardship team to support Glass Lewis’ Engagement and Stewardship Solutions by:
- Researching ESG themes for engagement with corporate issuers;
- Reviewing and producing ESG research on listed companies to support engagement campaigns;
- Participating in engagement meetings with corporate issuers;
- Coordinating vote-driven engagement campaigns on behalf of institutional investor clients;
- Managing the production of set Stewardship deliverables
- Liaising with institutional investor clients to seek input on deliverables;
- Training and mentoring junior members of the team;
- Gathering and managing data generated by the Stewardship offering;
- Supporting the development of Glass Lewis ESG engagement agenda; and
- Performing other related duties and tasks as necessary or as assigned
Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s Degree preferred
- At least 4 years of experience in ESG research and corporate engagement
- Demonstrated understanding of corporate governance and ESG issues
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including senior-level business writing and presentation skills (oral and written)
- Strong analytical and data management skills
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Collaborative, team-player with a continuous improvement mind-set
- IT skills; proficiency in MS Office and online research tools
Languages
- Excellent English reading and writing skills
- Additional languages an advantage: Japanese, Indonesian, Mandarin, Cantonese and other languages considered
The role is a full-time, hybrid position that requires some regular office attendance. The successful candidate will also work three days in the office and two days remotely. This position is based in our Makati City office.
