CGI Glass Lewis is pleased to announce the release of our 2016 Australian Season Review.
This year’s Review comprises two reports:
- 2016 Debrief – contains a series of case studies that provide insight into key areas of corporate governance in practice, including remuneration, director elections and M&A activity in the past year.
- 2016 Proxy Stats – provides quantitative context to the events, trends and voting outcomes of 2016 in the form of charts, graphs and tables.
As in previous years, we will be reviewing and releasing our Australian proxy voting guidelines just ahead of the main 2017 proxy season. These guidelines will be influenced by the developments discussed throughout the Review and input from clients, companies, regulators and other stakeholders. We will send an update to all clients upon our Guidelines release in Q3 of this year.
