Please keep in mind that we will not approve or schedule a Proxy Talk regarding a specific meeting until after the materials for that meeting have been released and reviewed by Glass Lewis.
Proxy Talks provide company representatives, dissidents or shareholder proposal proponents an open forum to engage with our clients and provide detail on specific issues. We believe this is an effective way for companies to reach our client base directly, empowering our clients and fostering improved disclosure of relevant facts.
Glass Lewis clients can listen to the calls and submit questions to speakers, with representatives from the Glass Lewis research team serving as moderators. Proxy Talk calls on specific proposals or individual meetings are held prior to the publishing of the Glass Lewis research report in order to glean additional information that may be considered as part of the analysis. Typically, calls are held so the participants (e.g., company representatives, directors, dissidents and shareholder proposal proponents) have an open forum to provide further rationale on specific issues.
The format is an hour-long discussion, with follow-up questions from listeners. Questions can be submitted to the speakers via email before and during the discussion, and are reviewed by our moderators before being posed. If you would like to include a presentation or other materials, we can distribute them to participants. Recordings of Proxy Talks are available in our online archive for clients unable to participate.
