We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented L1 helpdesk Engineer to join our IT Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our Windows-based systems users. Key Responsibilities:

  • End user support across a wide range of Microsoft tools and applications
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows workstations and Laptops.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security measures to protect systems and data.
  • Provide technical support to end-users and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to plan and execute projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field or equivalent practical experience .
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a Windows environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows Server 2016/2019, Windows 10/11).
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Knowledge of backup and recovery solutions.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and methodologies.

The role is a full-time, hybrid position that requires some regular office attendance. This position is based in our Makati City office.
