The main responsibilities of a GLASS LEWIS: RESEARCH ANALYST (SUPERVISOR) include:

  • Write and edit research reports by reviewing publicly available information as disclosed by public companies, verifying data and issuing recommendations based on Glass Lewis policies.
  • Analyze and make voting recommendations for governance and/or compensation related proposals in Europe, Latin America and Canada.
  • Demonstrate firm competency in Glass Lewis governance policy; deviate from Glass Lewis policy and provide cogent explanations when necessary
  • Assist in mentoring seasonal research associates, providing feedback and assistance in the writing and editing of research reports.
  • Helps to improve training program for research associates
  • Contributes to policy and guidelines update processes, and contributes to annual content projects on an as-needed basis
  • Helps identify and implement possible changes to research tools on an ongoing basis
  • Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Mentor senior research associates,providing feedback and assistance in writing and editing of research reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Qualifications should include required and other experience or qualifications
  • BA/BS degree required
  • At least one year (two or more preferred) of experience in an active corporate governance research role.
  • At least 1 year of experience of supervising research associates.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and Sharepoint. Basic understanding of HTML highly desired.
  • Willingness to learn applications used to communicate with other teams (JIRA, Slack, Outlook, MS Teams etc.).
  • Strong time-management, problem solving and people skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and independently.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, or teaching is highly desired.

It will also be favorable if you are knowledgeable in:

  • Highly desirable but not essential language skills in the following: Italian, French, Portuguese, Spanish, German, Dutch, Nordic Languages
